Kia ora, my name is Chris, and I am the minister at St Peter’s of the Rock, Rangiora.

I grew up in North Canterbury and went to Rangiora High School, which is where I met the lovely lady who later became my wife – Sarah. We have three kids, Esther, Lucy and Jayden. We have lived in Australia and Christchurch most of our adult lives, but are delighted to be back in Rangiora getting to know people and sharing the extraordinarily good news of Jesus, and serving with the people of St Peter’s of the Rock.

I came to know Jesus when I was 19, and have been on a journey of growing to know him more since then. It hasn’t been all smooth sailing by any means, but I have found that the message of Jesus has stood up to my toughest questions and doubts, and the reality of his love for a broken world has gotten me through my hardest times and biggest failures.

There is a short video sharing a bit of my story here:

I am passionate about music (especially drums), my family, history of New Testament times, and getting to know people who want to think about the big issues of life. I’d love to meet you, and you are very welcome to join us any Sunday, or to get in touch.

Cheers, God bless
Chris
